“Take a liberal helping of Tenacious D, sprinkle in some Lano and Woodley-style dynamics and some Anchorman-esque one-liners set against an Indiana Jones inspire storyline and you’re bang in the middle of Tim and Kai’s search for the mystical city of Atlantis…The pair take the audience deep into their bumbling adventures, resulting in a performance which is one hundred per cent on song.”
★★★★ The Advertiser 2010
“Jam-packed with hilariously clever tunes and lively storytelling, this show is sure to quickly have you laughing out loud with the pair’s fast and furious stage manner and switches between numerous colourful characters.
A surefire crowd-pleaser, it is slick and fast-paced and never dull for a moment, leaving you begging for more after each witty number – with particular highlights including “Running From the Egyptian Police”, “Losing Our Minds” and the Atlantean high-tech “More Evolved”. There’s no doubt about it, this duo is headed for stardom. With only two shows left this Fringe, now might be your last chance to be amongst those who can say ‘Well, I saw them when…’!”
